BACKGROUND
Part of the historical Biak-na-Bato National Park is an outdoor destination called Mt. Manalmon, in San Miguel, Bulacan. Although merely a hill, strictly speaking, Mt. Manalmon possesses novel landscapes, including those of Madlum River, whose rock formations compensate for an otherwise unremarkable environ. Also, nearby sites such as the Bayukbok Caves (a 2-hr exploration from the River) and Madlum cave (historical due to an 18th century relic) can be coupled with a trip to Mt. Manalmon to maximize the Biak-na-Bato experience. Also, complementing Mt. Manalmon is another elevated ground called Mt. Gola; instead of turning right at the bifurcation, going left would lead to this peak, which is also a good vantage point.

Reaching Manalmon is commenced by taking a bus to Cabanatuan, and then alighting at Brgy. Kamias, San Miguel, Bulacan. From here, a tricycle ride can take you to the jump-off at Brgy. Madlum. From here, the entire trek only lasts for 2 hours. You will first pass through the

Madlum cave (also called Manalmon cave); and then the rest of the trail would be passing through / crossing the Madlum River; this is the higlight of the trek. Camping may be done either after the river, or within the summit area. At the peak of Mt. Manalmon, you can see the Sierra Madre range to the east; and Mt. Arayat to the north. Still, it will be the rocky formations, the river, and the caves that will make Manalmon a memorable adventure.

0500 From Cubao or Pasay; take Cabanatuan-bound bus
0730 ETA Brgy. Kamias, San Miguel; take tricycle to jump-off
0800 Arrive at jump-off; register and get guides at community
0900 Start trek
1030 ETA summit of Mt. Manalmon; take pictures
1100 Start descent
1200 Back at community; lunch
1300 Visit Madlum and Bayukbok Caves
1530 Swim at Madlum river
1700 Back at jump-off; proceed back to Brgy. Kamias
1740 Take bus back to Manila

This is my first climb and super excited ako, sa sobrang excited ko, 1hour lng ako nakatulog that time. sabi nga ni Nice magbaon na lng ako ng gising para may lakas ako sa mahabang lakaran, sabi ko naman " late mo na sinabi eh, di na ako nakapag-prepare" Ahahaha!..

MGA KALAHOK:

.....na super extreme ang mga trip, (tumalon sa river galing sa mataas na rock formationat di pa nakuntento tumalon ulit sa river na galing sa mataas na cable wire)

.....na unang lumangoy para sukatin ang taas ng ilog pero NATAKOT SA TAAS NG SUMMIT.. Taas daw eh! (ngek!). Ahahaha!

.....na napulikat din sa loob ng cave (sabay sabing Ouch! Ouch! ANYAAARREE?)

.... na muntik ng malaglag pababa galing sa caving buti na lng nandun ako at hinarang ko. (muntik na rin ako madamay sa paglaglag nya!) ggggrrrrrrh! careful naman oh! :P

.... na nadulas sa likuran namin tapos muntik na rin kami idamay sa pakakadulas nya (Ahahahaha) Buti na lng hindi natuloy... (Iaray mo na yan! sAKIT YAN!) ahahaha

.....na nagandahan sa view ng gabi.(eh super dilim dat time halos wla kami makita nun pero cya super ganda.) ahahahaha!

.....na nauso ang salitang "ANNOOOO?! MAGIGING JINKIE AKO?!" (ahahaha!) dahil sa kanya yun?! ahahaha

Talagang lahat ng-enjoy sa trip na ito. Kahit 1st climb nmin ni Grace, nanjan sila to guide and assist us, kaya hindi kami nahirapan ng masyado sa mga trails kasi supportive nga eh.. :) Kahit may mga bago kaming nakasama, bilis pa rin namin ma-adopt yung mga trips and jokes nila. Kaya nag-enjoy yung bawat isa sa amin. Super saya and unforgettable XP ito para sa akin kasi na conquer ko mga fears ko.. (in some way!)

BOSAY RESORT Getaway

JANUARY 29-30, 2010, First month of the year! perfect for the upcoming summer getaway.. We started the summer na! waaah! Sarap magnight swimming.. Hindi mainit at nakakasunog sa balat.. More than a month pa namin pinagplanuhan itong night swimming.. Hirap kasi gumawa ng schedule sa mga hardworking person pero at last natuloy din..

January getaway.. 1st escapede for 2010. my co-manager, co-worker, college buddies, and friends went to BOSAY Resort Antipolo. Super duper enjoy, first time na nagkasama-sama yung mga circle of friends ko.. I LOVE IT.. level up na toh ^_^

We spend less money but the enjoyment and happiness is more that we expect.. Pagkain?! naku winner tayo dyan.. They prepared menudo, inihaw na fish, pork sisig, bagoong, pork barbeque, mangga and lots of junk food... Beverage?! we have redhorse, matador ,iced tea and very cold water. Entertainment?! syempre meron kaming malakas na sound system for that, may mga games at mga jolly friend na babangka! (hehehe!) to sum it up! the whole night is perfect for refreshing and fun for the exhausted people na katulad namin.. Yahoo!

STAR CITY with the TEAM

After the Management TEAM Meeting we went to Star City in Pasay City. It is a part of the team building to tight our bonding and to release our boring moments for the whole month.. Im so excited to visit! Last na punta ko sa star city is that last 2 months baka may mga bagong extreme rides na sila.. The ticket cost is P475 for ride all you can... Pakasawa ka sa mga rides basta kaya pa ng puso mo... Together with the team. talagang sinulit namin ung mga rides.. Wala kaming pinalagpas kahit kids ride.. bwahaha!.. but the best ride for me is ung STAR FLYERS.. bwahaha! ilang beses kami umulit dun.. ang maganda pa dun weekdays kami pumunta ka unti lang ung mga tao.. and yet wala pang lines sa mga rides.. pakasawa ka talaga.. Super saya talaga talaga! Even na we have a big gap on terms of ages.. i can still enjoy the stay in STAR CITY..babalik ulit ako next year!..

Enchanted Kingdom 11.26.09

Yesterday, Nov.26,2009 Me and my jolly friends went to Enchanted Kingdom.. Ang saya ng escapede na ito. This is my first time na makarating doon. The stay was really great and fun. Every single minute are not wasted.. Sinulit talaga namin yung stay there! The first ride that we take is the FLYING FIESTA.. (Bwahahaha) it was a wrong choice of ride.. Nahilo agad ako! lahat sila super sigaw and enjoy sa rides pero ako tahimik na! kasi nasusuka na ako.. di ko kinaya ung paikot ikot.. (bwahaha!) after ng ride na yun! RIALTO muna kami... Pahinga muna! bwahaha! afterwards.. inum muna ng watermelon shakes para di na ako hilo (ano konek?!) then proceed na sa ibat ibang challenge ng ride.. We take RIO GRANDE.. ang haba ng line pero okay lang yan! Patient is a virtue! Tagal ng hinantay namin sa line.. its take 45mins para makasakay lang sa ride na yun.. nung malapit na kami.. lahat ng bumababa sa rides is puro basa.. meron pa nga kami nakita na sign (PLS EXPECT THAT YOU WILL WET FROM THIS RIDE).. (amf! what happen!?) its our turn! waaaahhh ayos! basang basa ako sa ride na ito.. mukang sa akin lang ung lahat ng strike ng water.. bwahaha! Tshirt lang ang dala ko.. Talagang basang basa ako!.. pati falling falls.. sa akin din dumapat.. amf! Basa lahat ng damit ko pati short, underwear and shoes ko!>. huhuhuhu! di pa namin naiikot masyado ung enchated kingdom basa na ako!.. huhuhu F***..so, i decided na magbihis na ng Tshirt para kahit tshirt lang tuyo ako..

Sabi ng mga kasama ko masaya daw yun... okay! kaya ko ito! the lines is super haba.. pumila kami ng may araw pa! malapit na kami sa rides ng umulan at sumakay kami ng umuulan at wala ng araw.. huuhuhu! amf talaga!.. anyways..! saya naman ng araw with my friends pulitan and tawanan! the escapede was great and fun talaga. hoping na makabalik kami ulit doon with others with..

Music 21 KTV Bar

After the 10hours of meeting and discussion. We went to Music 21 KTV bar @ Jupiter st., Buendia, Makati City. The whole day was fun! Even if we have a different age, gender and interest we got bind in one song and one theme. Lumabas yung lahat ng hidden talent ng team. Yung tinatagung masterpiece ni S'Dhan lumabas din.. We sang and dance all day night. If you want to ask how much we spend in that ktv bar.. jejeje! kindly search na lang.. i dont know kasi how much eh. its company expense..
Now i realize that music is a life! Live life with music and be fun of it!

Its vacation time!

We all dream of taking a perfect vacation. Unfortunately, most vacations aren't like that for many reasons.

Realize what you want. Do you want to explore? Relax? See a completely different place? There are many different places that you can go to. Some people don't feel comfortable when traveling to places that are too far and different. On the other hand, going somewhere that's too close might make you feel like you're taking a stroll in the neighbourhood. If you take the Vacation Style quiz, you can get an idea of what your travelling style is so you can choose the right destination for you.

Plan. Once you choose your vacation spot, you can start with your planning. Don't book a resort too early, because there might be some last minute deals. Use the internet or get some travel brochures to see what the local attractions are, as well. Some places could be dangerous and unwelcoming; make sure to read reviews of places you want to go to and stay in. If you have the choice to choose who you want to go with, think carefully. It has to be someone you like and don't have many fights with. The person you travel with greatly affects your travelling experience. Try to think of things that might ruin the experience (i.e. addictions, different travelling style, etc.)

Avoid stress. There are things that have to be taken care of - just like every other vacation. Don't get it wrong this time; finish things early. If you know that you're always late , then try to leave the house an hour or two earlier. Also, Don't leave things for the last minute and pack your suitcase early.

Research. Learn about the place, as there might be some important things that you don't know about. Use Wikipedia and search engines to learn about the local customs. Read about appropriate clothing, tipping, laws, weather, and more. Check the forecast to see what the weather will be like and if the area you will be in might have natural disasters or conflicts that might arise soon. If the place you're going to isn't anything like where you live, make sure to see pictures and videos of the place to avoid culture shock.

Cherish the moments. Sometimes we don't realize how happy and carefree we really were until we no longer feel it. Recognize those moments and appreciate them; don't let any of your desires or worries get in the way. Try not to reflect or think too much about how it's been so far or give the vacation a grade before it's really over. Don't give yourself too much time to think about what happened, but give yourself enough to know what to do and where to go. You can take pictures and record videos, but remember to turn them off once in awhile. Let yourself be in the present instead of taking pictures of a moment you weren't in for the future.

Remember. There are some places that people know they'll never go back to. Some won't come back to keep the memories unique, some understand that they won't be the same, and others just know that they want to keep on going and discovering new and exciting places. Whatever you choose to do, remember this vacation and learn from it. You might just look back at it one day and realize how lucky you were to have experienced it.

ALWAYS REMEMBER!
Don't spend too much money. You don't have to be first class or be in a suite to have a great vacation. Let yourself have fun and travel comfortably, but try to stay close to your budget.
Stay safe. It's good to discover and see different places, but know which places you should stay away from.
Don't get into arguments or fights with anybody you don't know well.

Mount Sea Fiesta

Last Aug 22, 2009/Sat. We went to Mount Sea Fiesta in Rosario Tanza, Cavite for our annual company outing. Its really great in that resort.. Its is perfectly good for the huge participant outing. Kahit hindi naman ako mahilig magswimming nagustuhan ko yung result na iyun.. The accomodation of each personnel is better than other resort. I really enjoy may half stay sa resort.. umuwi rin ako after lunch kasi i need to go to our house near sa resort because it my mom's birthday kailangan ko pumunta dun para mag cook ng favorite spaghetti nya..

Philip's Sanctuary, JB Petron Diego Silang

PHILIP'S SANCTUARY is the best place place for team building, nature appreciation and of adventure sports enthusiasts such as bikers, mountaineers and airsoft players among others. They offer outdoors activity that aims to inculates the value of teamworks, resourcefulness, responsibility and independence and respect to nature. They offer alternative forms of activities that stimulate the mind, body and spirits amidst a landscape of natural and man-made resources. The Jollibee Petron Diego Silang decided to choose Philip's Sanctuary as a annual team building and goal setting. Yesterday, 7/29/09/Weds, Super saya and excited lahat ng JB Diego Silang team.While we are on the rode dami ng bloopers ng team. May sumuka pa nga kasi nahihilo..Hindi yata sanay sa aircon van. Sa bagay yung boyfriend nya laging syang sinusundo ng motor.. hehehe! When we arrived in the venue bigla kaming natakot kasi mukang kami lang yata yung nasa farm. Wala pa yung facilatator namin. Wala rin kaming matanungan kasi lahat ng mga nandun mga contractor ng farm. so, we decided to stayed na lang sa nipa hut nila. Nagbreakfast muna kami.. ginutom kasi kami sa byahe and kakatawa.. :)
then, dumating yung facilatator namin. His name is Steve, one of the grandson of the owner of Philip Sanctuary.. Sosyal di ba?! Usually daw sya ung faci kapag mga corporate yung guest nila.. Wow?.! Our first activity is the farm tour in PS. During our tour sinabi nya rin yung history ng farm. Medyo memorable talaga yung farm sa family Prestano. Ang saya ng part na yun.. S'Dan, A' Jhona, M'Mitch, M'Jack, K'Jv, K' Ivan, and K' Edz their team name is "Mighty Jolly Seven" and then my team is M' Lowie, S' Edwil, S' Drick, S' Rommel, M' Belle and A' Arnie and we are team "Jai ho, You Are my Destiny" bwahahaha!!! then we start the first game, sa first game we lost bcoz of me.. huhuhu!! nadulas kasi ako.. ang putik kasi sa area namin.. nakaladkad ako ni S' Drick sa human chain. pagkakita nila na nadulas ako.. super tawa na sila! Hindi nila makamove-on sa kakatawa kaya naunahan kami ng ibang team.. 2nd game is called "im a slave for u" huhuhu!! buhatan portion yun.. eh luge kami ang dami naming heavy weight sa team.. the result is talo na naman kami.. next game is "archer, wall and rabbit" this game is similar sa bato-bato pick pero this time we've won na.. nanalo kami sa pagmental games. . jejejej( yabang naman!) After ng morning game, Nagkaroon ng sharing about sa team. Galing magsalita si S'Steven. Daming reason pala why our superior ganun talaga sila kastrict. We did'nt know what they are thinking and doing for the sake of the company benefits, employee relationship and team target. (Kaya pala ganun yung superior ko sa akin!) Its time to lunch, They prepared pork barbeque.. (hmmm! Yummy!) tapos yung food pa na prepared ng PS. kaya busog na busog kami. After we take our lunch ngkaroon kami ng time para magpapicture sa ibang area pa ng PS. Ganda ng butterfly garden nila. Dami nga namin picture dun eh.
Its back to the game! its a rope game na! They have a spider web, net climb, zip line and tarzan jump. Saya talaga ng time na yun.. Dami nadulas, na aksidente, at nasugatan. jejeje!! Mud crawl is the happiness and exciting game kasi super dikit yung labanan pero nagwagi pa rin kami.. (Yahoo!) Nag log balancing, tight rope, and rafting kami..syempre kami pa rin panalo.. rafting lang kami natalo kasi dami talaga heavy weight sa amin.. huhuhu! we tried the hanging bridge.. Saya talaga pero sa A' Jhona na badtrip sa amin kasi natakot daw sa.. (Tse! Change topic.. sa akin ng sya nagalit till now hindi kami nagpapansinan) then ng Tarzan jump kami.. jejeje! si M'Yonah yung best perfomer dun.. secret po!! ( bwahaha) Natapos yung game sa Zip line.. bwahaha! astig yung part na yun..di ako maka-move dun.. Natapos yung araw namin na may saya sa bawat isa!! We learned a lot of things!
